Financial Aid

Financial aid at MTTI is available (if you qualify) from a variety of sources. Grants, Student Loans, Parent Loans and MTTI’s own Tuition Payment Plan.

Financial programs available include the following:

    • Pell Grants
    • Subsidized Federal Stafford Loan
    • Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan
    • Federal PLUS Loan
    • MTTI Tuition Payment Plan

Ø ELIGIBILITY/APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

MTTI considers all financial aid sources (if you qualify) when awarding aid to eligible applicants. For the purpose of this policy, "Financial Aid" includes grants and loans of any form.

Applicants interested in any of the Financial Aid Programs available at MTTI should contact either the Financial Aid or Admissions Office for applications and further information. Financial Aid Awards are not automatic. Potential students must file an application with the Financial Aid Office before the start of their training at MTTI. In order to continue to be eligible for financial aid students must maintain satisfactory progress. Satisfactory progress at MTTI is defined as a student who maintains passing grades and has attained a minimum of 85% attendance. All students receiving financial assistance have certain responsibilities. These responsibilities are outlined when awarded financial aid. To assist the Financial Aid Officer at MTTI in determining eligibility, the following information will be required:

• Previous or current year’s U.S. Income Tax Return (IRS Form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ)
• Records of untaxed income such as: Welfare, Social Security, AFDC, ADC or Veterans Benefits
• Current Bank Statements
• Business Records
• Records of Stocks, Bonds, Investments
• Student’s Driver’s License, Birth Certificate, Social Security Card and Alien Registration Card

If under the age of 24, please also have your parents provide the above information.
