Ø ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

The entrance requirements for each program is as follows:

• An Accepted Application for Enrollment

• A Minimum of 18 Years of Age upon Graduation from MTTI*

• A Valid Drivers License*

• The Ability to Read, Write and Speak English

• A High School Diploma or its Equivalent or a Passing Grade on an Ability to Benefit Test

* Under special circumstances these requirements may be waived if approved by the school director or designee.

The applicant must possess an interest and an aptitude in the skill area in which he or she wishes to enroll. Such interest and aptitude may be demonstrated through employment history, referral recommendations, a valid vocational assessment and/or the applicant’s interview. Applicants must have the ability to physically meet the demands of the particular occupation for which the student is applying. MTTI reserves the right to refuse admission to any student for whatever reason other than race, creed, color, sex, age, national origin or physical handicap.

Ø ADMISSIONS PROCEDURES

1. Schedule an interview with the school admissions officer.

2. Submit a complete application. Applications are available at MTTI.

3. Provide a copy of your high school diploma, transcript or documentation that was received for your GED. If you are not currently enrolled in high school, and have not attained a diploma or GED, your admissions officer will assist you in scheduling an Ability to Benefit Test.

4. Submit $50.00 registration fee, tuition deposit, and a completed enrollment agreement, as well as any other information that the applicant or institution feels is pertinent to enrollment.
