Internship

Each student in the full-time day program will complete an internship within the automotive industry. The internship provides each student with valuable experience in an actual work atmosphere. Additionally, the internship provides an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a potential employer!

Program Length & Calendar

The Automotive Service Technician program is completed in just 27 weeks for full-time day students. The part-time evening program runs for 68 weeks. Please contact us for more information and details about the next class start date.

Faculty and Staff

MTTI instructors are highly experienced Automotive Service technicians; most are ASE certified Master Technicians. Each has worked in the automotive industry for many years and meets the standards of approval by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Division of Proprietary Schools and the ACCSC (the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges). MTTI instructors and staff work together with Career Service Specialists to help students successfully enter new careers.

Tool Bonus

Automechanic and an open toolbox.The set of Snap-on tools each student receives in class is valued at over $2,500. Graduate who successfully enter training-related employment within 90 days, keep the tools. The complete Tool Bonus Policy is outlined in the Student Orientation Booklet.

Diploma

Students who successfully complete the 825-hour program will receive an Automotive Service Technician Diploma. Each of MTTI’s programs has been approved by Massachusetts and Rhode Island state education agencies, and the ACCSC.
